PRIVACY

Privacy, without the mystery.

This policy explains what the current Orion V1 website does with information you provide. It is written for the local-first version of Orion and may be updated as the product changes.

Website source files: In the current V1 local mode, the project files you select are analyzed in your browser. Orion does not intentionally upload or permanently store those source files on an Orion server.

What Orion receives

The local analyzer works with the files you choose in your browser. The project contents are kept in the browser memory while the scan runs and are not intentionally retained by Orion after the page is closed or reset.

Support messages

If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your email, such as your email address, message, screenshots, logs, or files you choose to attach. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, and improve the product.

Website and hosting data

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver the site, such as request information and security logs. Orion does not use that infrastructure to intentionally store your uploaded project source in the current local V1 workflow.

Third-party services

The current local analyzer does not require a third-party AI API or cloud storage service to perform its core scan. Future versions may use additional services; this policy will be updated before those changes materially affect how your data is handled.

Security

We design Orion around local-first processing and minimize unnecessary collection. No software can guarantee perfect security, so do not use Orion as a substitute for your own security controls or professional review.

Changes

We may update this policy when Orion changes. The newest version will be published on this page.
